Sports and Anime? A Review of Free!

After watching so many anime and reading manga with a dark or romantic genre time to dive into a new category. Sports.

Sports and anime? what the hell? you might ask but to be completely honest, I thought the same at first. But once I started watching the anime I couldn’t stop. It is as fascinating as watching a Titan try to kill Levi in Attack on Titan. Watching young teenage boys in a swim club deal with their daily life struggles and school drama sounds weird but as an anime it is quite and entertainment.

The story goes this way that in a town called Iwatobi, four friends meet after some time in high school. Before parting their the four friends, Haruka Nanase, Makoto Tachibana, Nagisa Hazuki and Rin Matsuoka all went ti the same elementary school and competed in swimming. Competition causes a drift between Rin and Haru and causes Haru to stop competing professionally. But in high school after getting taunted and challenged by Rin, Haru gets his passion back for competitive swimming. And in the result of the challenge the friends except Rin along with Rei Ryugazaki start a swim club called Iwatobi Swim Club.

Much more drama and competition follows the Haru vs. Rin rivalry. Watch the anime or read the manga to find out more. I am not going to ruin the fun for you. But of you already have then let us know what you think (and how much you ship MakaHaru). Until then,
